•Ideal Start Date: Oct 20, 2025, flexible for the right person

•Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm

•Children: 2.8 year old girl (care will primarily be for her), and a 6 year old

girl (will require up to 8 hours of care per week typically after school, and

all-day care is needed during school breaks)

•Compensation: $32-34/hr depending on experience and qualifications

The Family:

This loving family of four is seeking an experienced, caring nanny to

partner with! Their parenting style is collaborative, kind, and nurturing, and

they value positive reinforcement. Their 2.8 year old attends a 1/2 day

preschool program 3 days per week ( M-W-F). It is during this time that the

nanny will be able to focus on the family assisting tasks. (There is no

expectation of doing family assisting duties during childcare hours.) After

preschool pickup, the nanny will focus on her care. Her older sister attends

school and will require care after school for approximate 2 hours per day.

The older child will need more care during breaks from school.

Both parents work from home on a separate level of the house, away from

the main living spaces during the day. They want to reiterate that when the

nanny is there, the nanny is in charge. The parents are hands-on and

always available to help, but not intrusive. They envision the nanny being a

nurturing extension of the loving care that fills their home.

For the family assisting part of the position, the family is hoping that after

the initial onboarding process that the nanny will largely be able to

complete weekly tasks in a proactive manner and identify opportunities to

help.

The family has regular house cleaners, so no deep cleaning is needed.

There are no pets in the home

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving

environment for the children. We want to emphasize we subscribe to a

gentle parenting approach and want to partner with a childcare provider

that has the same values.

Childcare duties:

Children’s meal preparation and assistance with feeding as needed.

Providing safe, reliable transportation in the nanny’s own vehicle for school

drop offs and pickups, and outings

Potty training guidance/support

Planning and facilitating age-appropriate activities, outings, and play

Facilitating nap time- Please note we do not follow traditional sleep training

practices.

Initiating child-centric activities to support the kids in their development.

Helping the older child with Homework on days when mom cannot.

Family Assisting duties: ( While the kids are out or napping)

Light kitchen cleaning including loading and unloading the dishwasher,

doing dishes as needed, and wiping down surfaces

Making the beds in the mornings or as the schedule allows

Family laundry (wash/dry/fold/put away)

Light vacuuming of common areas

Tidying the refrigerator as needed

Helping to keep the children’s rooms and closets tidy and organized

Taking out the trash, compost, and recycling as needed

Occasional Goodwill runs

Meal prep, including prepping lunch boxes

groceries and cleaning supplies

Running errands including package returns for the family

This is not an exhaustive list of the household help duties that the family

may need help with throughout the week, but these are the highlights

Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:

least 5+ years of relevant childcare experience. The nanny should be

reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoy working with children! A preschool

teaching or Early Childhood Education background, along with prior family

assisting experience, would be ideal. The family is looking to partner with

someone who considers themselves a career nanny. Our older child is

highly gifted, so bonus if you have experience with supporting children
