•Location: Issaquah, WA

•Ideal Start Date: March 2, 2026

•Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm every other week (55 hours week A, 0 hours week B, rotating schedule every 2 weeks). Kid care hours are 7a-9a, and 2:45-6pm generally, with Wednesdays having some late arrival and early release times for school. (The would like some help with household tasks during non-childcare hours. Much of that time will largely be downtime, but the family needs the provider to remain on-call and ready to engage should childcare be needed during that time.)  

•Children: 4 children ages 13, 12, 9, and 6.

•Compensation: $36-42/hr depending on experience and qualifications, with guaranteed hours for the weeks care is needed. A family vehicle is provided for driving the children.  

• One year minimum commitment required, longer term even better

The Family:

This loving family of five is looking for a phenomenal nanny to join their team! The mother has her children every other week. She is in need of before and after school support for her children, some help keeping the household running smoothly, and someone to be on call in the event there is a no school day, or one of the children needs to stay home (for illnesses previously agreed upon with the nanny). 

The oldest child is interested in reading, science, math, dad jokes, and generally being goofy. The 12 year old loves sports, cars, bikes, and learning about entrepreneurship. He has ADHD and ODD, and has been making big strides in managing these. The 9 year old enjoys arts and crafts, basketball, and school, and she also loves singing. The 6 year old loves Legos and building, sports, and screens (he will do almost anything to get screen time!). 

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving environment for their children. Job duties will include:

  • General care and supervision of the children
     
  • Offering engaging play opportunities and homework help 
     
  • Safely driving the kids to school and activities in a vehicle provided by the family
     
  • Meal prep help, and feeding the kids snacks and dinner 
     
  • Doing children’s laundry and dishes daily as needed
     
  • Tidying of spaces used throughout the day
     

Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:

Their ideal nanny has 2+ years of relevant experience working multiple children. They should be proactive, organized, and have the ability to be a strong presence if needed. The nanny should be comfortable with enforcing no screen time in order to keep things consistent with the mother’s parenting style and preferred household routines. Someone with a paraprofessional background, and/or a working knowledge of ADHD and ODD would be an excellent fit.

The nanny must have a valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.  The family will provide car seats. 

Being up to date on vaccines including Covid is ideal. The nanny should have a current CPR/First Aid Certification, or be willing to update asap.

The Family:

This loving family of four is seeking a fantastic nanny to partner with! Their 3 year old is sweet and playful. Her sister attends school, and the mother picks her up and brings her home around 3pm each day. The family embraces the Montessori methodologies with their children in the home.

Mom works from home in an office space separate from the mail living areas, and dad works outside of the home. He travels for work several days out of each month, and ideally the nanny has the flexibility to stay until around 8:30 those days.

The family has a friendly Golden Retriever in the home for any nannies with allergy considerations. They would love for the dog to accompany the nanny and child occasionally when they are out on walks around the neighborhood, especially when dad is traveling.

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving environment for their children. Job duties will include:

  • Basic care and ensuring all needs are met daily
  • Children’s snack/meal prep 
  • Facilitating play time and nap time
  • Proactively planning/offering age-appropriate developmental and sensory activities including developmental milestone support
  • Regular outside time for walks/play
  • Helping with pre-bedtime and bedtime routines
  • Child- specific cleaning/tidying and laundry
  • Tidying of spaces used throughout the day
     

Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:

Their ideal nanny has a minimum of 2+ years of relevant childcare experience, and is energetic, warm, and patient. The nanny should be genuinely interested in helping to support their child in play, learning, and having fun!

The nanny should be up to date with all vaccinations Covid, TDaP, and annual Influenza. The nanny should have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record, and be current with their CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to update asap). No on the job driving is required.

•Compensation: $30-$34/hr depending on experience, and qualifications, with guaranteed hours, 2 weeks of paid time off yearly, accrued paid sick leave, paid federal holidays, mileage reimbursement for driving on the job in nanny’s own vehicle; ability to charge electric or hybrid car if needed

The Family:  This loving family is searching for a fantastic nanny to partner with! Their children go to daycare during the day, and they are in need of a nanny to care for them in the mornings, evenings and ideally on Saturdays as well. However, they are willing to be very flexible with the schedule for the right fit. They want to find something that works for everyone. 

Their children are very curious, and they enjoy reading, and playing outside. Mom and dad have jobs that keep them very busy, but they spend as much time as possible with their kids. 

Dad is allergic to gluten and dairy. There is a Golden doodle dog in the home, so their nanny should be comfortable around dogs.

The Job Description: 

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for their children. Job duties include:

  • Feeding snacks, and meal prep if possible 
     
  • Being proactive in planning and bringing forth age appropriate developmental activities, outings, sensory play, and adventures
     
  • Getting outdoors for play regularly

Their ideal nanny has 2+ years of relevant experience. They should be patient, mindful, and willing to partner closely with the parents. They should be willing to get their children outdoors often and be proactive with engaging activities. Someone with preschool teaching or early childhood education experience, and/or with cooking skills would be a bonus!
